This document outlines the Terms and Conditions of the Omoda Jaecoo New Vehicle Warranty provided by Omoda Jaecoo Australia for both Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and Electric Vehicles (EV), including Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) and Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV). Omoda Jaecoo Australia warrants (subject to the listed Terms and Conditions) that if any part of the vehicle is found to be defective in materials or workmanship within the stated warranty period, it will be repaired, replaced, or rectified by an authorised Omoda Jaecoo dealer at no cost upon obtaining approval from Omoda Jaecoo Australia.

The warranty does NOT cover vehicles acquired at auction or imported into Australia other than through Omoda Jaecoo Australia. The warranty does not cover any indirect, direct, or incidental loss or damage. Any legal rights or remedies for such loss or damage should be pursued separately. Omoda Jaecoo Australia does not accept liability for any item of the vehicle that failed due to normal wear and tear, driver abuse, unauthorised modification, or nonprofessional repair or maintenance.

Omoda Jaecoo Australia may require replaced components and/or parts to be returned to the factory for audit and/or quality control purposes. Warranty audits may be performed on authorised dealers for work conducted on its behalf. Where a part or component is replaced free of charge under the warranty, the old, replaced component and/or part becomes the property of Omoda Jaecoo Australia.

Other Rights: The benefits conferred by this warranty are in addition to the consumer's rights and remedies under Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to meet acceptable quality standards and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Disclaimer: All information in this document is accurate at the time of publishing. Omoda Jaecoo Australia reserves the right to make changes without prior notice. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Omoda Jaecoo Australia shall not be responsible for any damages, losses, or expenses resulting from reliance on this document. Reproduction or duplication, either partially or fully, without written permission is prohibited.

Warranty Coverage Period: The Omoda Jaecoo New Vehicle Warranty is 8 years/unlimited kilometres from the first registration date. Demonstrator vehicles carry the balance of the original warranty. The high-voltage battery is covered under the same terms, with coverage extending to issues where the net residual capacity falls below 70% during the warranty period.

Transfer of Warranty: The warranty is attached to the vehicle and transfers to subsequent owners within the warranty period, provided the vehicle was originally purchased from an authorised Omoda Jaecoo dealer.

  • Driver negligence, misuse, or abuse (e.g. tampering, overloading).
